Self/ish Skincare

I recently came across a brand on Instagram that is called Self/ish. They reached out to me and sent me some stuff for me to review. I went on their website and they claim to be a “uncompromising skincare for men” they also claim to be “free” which they claim means they are free of 50+ ingredients but they are not organic. I received the cleanser, scrub, moisturizer, and eye gel. The cleanser claims to be for all skin types and remove pore-clogging dirt and oil as well as contain vitamin boost & active complex to leave skin looking clear and refreshed. It had a lemon scent which I really liked and it felt nice on the skin, I felt more hydrated afterwards from the Aloe Vera juice it has. The scrub claimed to smooth and detox skin with the scrub infused with vitamin boost and active acid complexes. I personally didn’t like the scrub as it contained alchol and made my skin very dry and irritated with red swells. The Oil-free moisturizer claimed to treat and protect your skin all day with hydration. I personally didn’t like the moisturizer as it has alcohol as well as contained red algae extract but at the end of the ingredient list and didn’t contain aloe like the cleanser which I think would’ve felt more hydrating.
