Biossance Skincare Review

Biossance is a skincare brand that began at Berkeley labs, it was created as an alternative to squalene an oil that is found in lovers of sharks. Biossance created a renewable, sugarcane-derived version called squalane that saves 2 million of the sharks that used to be hunted in the oceans each year. They claim that they use these ethical practices in each of their products in order to provide a fully organic line of products, I saw a review a year ago about the cleanser, and decided I would try it out as I had never tried squalene out before and it seemed interesting. I bought two kits and decided I would review both as they contained the full line, and I loved the entire line. The Squalene Cleanser claims to be a soothing gel that cleans and removes impurities, I loved the light smell as well and the gentle feeling it left on my skin. The Squalene and Vitamin C Rose Oil, claims to be a brightening, firming and hydrating oil, I personally loved the oil as it smelled likes roses which I love as well as it left my skin dewy and moisturized. The Omega Repair Cream claims to be a restorative and and nourishing moisture barrier to plump the look of fine lines, it felt very relaxing and I loved the smell of it as it smelled like Shea butter which I love. The Squalene + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer claims to be a ultra hydrating gel moisturizer is infused with squalene and probiotic technology to help restore skin’s healthy looking radiance, after using the gel it instantly sunk right into my skin and it made my skin more plump which I love. The eye cream with algae claims to be a melt in texture that delivers deep hydration, after trying this out I have to say I love the way it instantly tightened my under eyes as algae is the aloe of the ocean. The lip treatment with squalane and rose claims to be a deeply moisturizing formula, after applying to my lips my lips instantly looked more full and I loved the way it made my lips look after, it made me want to keep reapplying throughout the day. Overall I really loved all the products in the collection and I would definitely recommend it to my friends as it is a sustainable brand which I can now say I love.
