SkinFix Vegan Skincare Review

Skinfix is a “ is truly clinical skincare with a clean composition”. I came across it while reading an Allure article so I thought I would try it out. It also claims to be consciously clean and clinically active while being free from fragrance, alcohols, Parabens and sulfates. I bought the entire Barrier+ collection for a review. The Foaming Oil Cleanser claims to be a gentle coconut oil cleaner and it had no scent, it felt okay while I was washing my face but afterward my skin felt very dry. I followed afterwards with the Nutrient Water Misting Tonic which claims to be “99% naturally derived…A superfine, nutrient-rich misting tonic with coconut, cucumber, and rose waters hydrate, prep, and refresh skin”. The mist is very refreshing and felt hydrating I really liked the ingredients and it left my skin feeling soft and silky. The Lipod-Hyaluronate Serum claims to “plump, volumize & provide moisture to your skin” it had a light smell of rosemary, it felt very hydrating and I loved that it contained Aloe and Seaweed which are very hydrating. The Redness Recovery+ Antioxidant Redness Treatment Overnight Mask claims to be a “ creamy-gel, overnight mask with multiple concentrated actives that calms and reduces visible redness, and replenishes dehydrated skin”. I liked that it contained Aloe and Honey which definitely has been helping with my redness and sensitivity . My face feels super soft in the morning after I wash this off. The Lipid-Boost 360 Eye treatment claims to be “A treatment using unprecedented, concentrated, clinical actives to target hydration, dark circles, puffiness, and fine lines around eyes and lids”. After applying this immieatdly my under eyes got itchy, red and very dry. After checking the ingredient list I think it was the two types of Alcohol so I won’t be using it again. The Lipid-Peptide Lotion claims to be “A lightweight, yet hydrating lotion powered by vital lipids and nutripeptides, promoting a healthy skin barrier”. This product has made my skin supple and dense with moisture. The Dark Spot Corrector claims to be a “powerful cocktail of ten active ingredients to help brighten skin” it personally didn’t remove any dark spots for me and I did think it felt a little heavy. The Lip Repair Balm makes my lips incredibly soft, it felt like it was melting into my lips instead of some that just feel like they sit on top. I use it on my toddler son since he gets dry chapped lips as well. The 911 Ointment claims to be “An active pharmaceutical ointment that is clinically proven to protect chapped, cracked, and irritated skin” I thought it was nice however it reminded me of Aquaphor with its consistency. The Eczema Hand Repair Cream claims to “Rebuild the skin barrier with 2 active pharmaceutical ingredients a blend of healing botanicals, rich natural butters and emollient oils” it felt a little thick, it absorbs so well and leaves no greasy feeling, while leaving my skin moisturized. Thanks so much for reading.
