Earth To Skin Review
EarthtoSkin is a new brand that was released as a exclusive for Walmart. The brand is focused on natural products and ingredients at an affordable price point. I came across it online while reading an Allure article and decided I had to try it out. I bought the entire Super Greens collection which is formulated to "Detox & destress with vitamin-rich botanical blends” which I thought would be a good Segway into the brand. The first thing I did was wash my face with the cleanser, which smelled like cucumbers and had a gel consistency. It felt okay at first however then I started to feel a little irritation, which I later realized was from added coloring to make it visually appealing to consumers. The pumpkin enzyme peel is supposed to remove dead skin and make you look more radiant, however it has walnuts in it which irritated my skin and left me red. The all over serum with hyaluronic acid, felt lightweight however felt very sticky after applying. The eye cream smelled like cucumbers and it felt very heavy under my eye. It also felt like sandpaper as I was applying with what felt like micro-beads which I think is from the synthetic beeswax they use which gets hard and clumpy. The nourishing day gel cream smells amazing. However, I don't like the overall texture, it feels slimy and a little bit sticky and heavy. After trying everything out I question if it’s truly “natural” and I definitely think there is room for improvement with the brand. Thanks so much for reading.
