Laneige Skincare Review
Laneige is a Japanese skincare brand owned by Amore Pacific, which is a scientifically-backed brand that uses kelp for hydration. I have used their Sleeping Mask and liked it. However, they released an entire skincare line a few months back and knew I had to try it out. The Moisturizing Face Cream had an awful scent and made my skin burn and feel very dry afterward. The cleanser contained BHT, which can aggregate skin and cause irritations. The Fresh Calming toner felt refreshing and left my skin soft. The Essence irritated my skin, and I later realized it was because it contained Alcohol which made it feel drying. I was not too fond of the Water Clay mask as it made my skin super sensitive and had three types of alcohol, and I would prefer to use a natural charcoal mask. The Cica Mask smelled nice and claimed to be hypoallergenic; however, it contained alcohol, which made me question it a little, but it felt hydrating while giving a subtle tingle while applying. The Water Bank Serum was hydrating. However, it had left me feeling sticky and irritated, so I definitely wouldn’t use it every day as my skin is very sensitive. The Moisturizing Mousse was very interesting to pump out, and I loved that it was an airtight system. The Water Bank eye gel was hydrating, and I loved that it was a gel because it felt very light yet revitalizing. Overall I would defiantly recommend the Toner and the Hydrating Mousse Moisturizer, as well as the Water Bank eye gel as it contains lots of occurring organic vitamins. Thanks so much for reading!
