Lancome Skincare Review
Lancome is a Persian cosmetics brand that specializes in the cosmetic needs of middle-aged women. I decided to try out their skincare line, and I had some interesting insights. To start the Comforting Cleansing Cream with Rose Extract smelled terrific; however, it left my skin a little dry due to the Titanium Dioxide that can cause skin irritation. The Re-hydrating Comforting Toner with Acacia Honey smelled terrific as well; however, it also irritated my skin and felt sticky. The Advanced Skin Corrector Serum felt good at first, but after looking at ingredients, I noticed my skin was feeling dryer than it did before because it contains Alcohol, which cause irritations to the skin and can cause dryness. The Multi-Action Eye Cream had a soft cream constituency. Still, I didn’t like that it was a gel because creams feel heavier underneath your eyes, as well as it had four different types of Alcohol, which I don’t put around my eyes. After all, my skin is susceptible to irritation, and it can cause excessive drying through evaporation. The Hydra Zen Gel Moisturizer has a nice consistency and soaked into my skin quickly but left my skin feeling drier than it was before and after looking at the ingredients, it also contained three types of Alcohol, which I did not like because it irritated my skin to a whole new degree. After this blog post, I will not be using these products again as they all irritated my skin, and all had preservatives, which I have disregarded in my skincare regimen as well as the Alcohol because it defeats the purpose of hydrating. Thanks so much for reading!
