Dermalogica Skincare Review
Dermalogica is a well-known brand that many Dermatologists promote. A friend of mine was obsessed and recommended it to me long ago, but I am finally getting around to it. I got the Sensitive Skin Rescue as I have sensitive skin, and I have to say I usually don’t give away how I feel about a product until the end, but my skin felt great instantly. I also got the UltraCalming Serum and the Awaken Peptide Eye Gel, as the kit only had face wash, toner, and the calming cream. So first off, the Ultra Calming Lotion feels excellent on the skin and is sensitive. I felt like I was splashing water on my face, which I appreciate. The Ultra Calming Mist smells like Ginger which I surprisingly like, and sat very well with my skin. The UltraCalming Serum smells like Avocado and Sunflower and has a very calming effect which the name says but hear me out, Avocado is known to reduce inflammation, and I was in the sun today at the beach, so it felt relaxing. The Awaken Peptide Eye Gel was delightful and smelled like Rosemary, which surprised me as I got a Rosemary plant this week, so it was a beautiful coincidence :) which Rosemary smooths out fine lines, so it’s great for under the eyes and even better that it’s a gel as I prefer gels. The Calm Water Gel contains Aloe Vera, one of my favorite ingredients in skincare, as it hydrates and repairs skin. The Calm Water Gel felt great on my skin, and I would use this whole routine again as I came home from the beach with a mild sunburn since I forgot my sunscreen at home, and these products instantly soothed my skin.
