AmorePacific Enzyme Cleansing Powder

AmorePacific is a Korean skincare brand that is a cult favorite for many skincare enthusiasts. Recently they released a cleansing powder that “softly cleanses away dead skin cells and impurities from the pores to make the skin look bright and healthy”. When I first opened the bottle, it took me one whiff to recognize this familiar scent of baby wipes, which I found unextraordinary. The packaging is neat because you get to dispense the powder; however, there’s no way of preventing a massive fall out because there’s no pump system. I distributed a small amount on my hands and wet it, and it instantly foamed up the smell intensified and unfortunately lingered. After washing off, my skin felt soft, and I liked that it felt gentle while exfoliating; however, I think the scent could use some work, especially for $80. I would use this at a sleepover or spa day to show my friends a cool powder that transforms into a foaming face wash, but for an everyday cleanser, it is very inconvenient and may bother many with the fragrance choice. Overall I would give it a 7/10 because I enjoyed watching it transform from powder to foam and I liked how my skin felt after, but I was not too fond of the lingering scent, and the price is up there.
