Spalife Gold & Silver Serum Review

Who makes it:

Spalife Beauty is a skincare brand that was founded with the idea that life goes by fast so it’s important to slow down and pamper yourself.

Why I’m using it:

I am using Spalife because I am interested in seeing how the gold and silver feel in a serum for my face. I have previously gold leaf products such as the Tatcha Gold Spun Lip Balm and the Tom Ford Soleil Blanc Shimmering Body Oil.

The Science behind Spalife:

SpaLife Beauty uses natural extracts to create their formulas.

Key Benefits:

**Gold in Skincare:**

1. **Radiance Boost:** Gold particles can create a luminous effect on the skin, giving it a radiant and glowing appearance.

2. **Anti-Aging:** Gold may help stimulate collagen production, which could potentially reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

3. **Anti-Inflammatory:** Gold nanoparticles have anti-inflammatory properties that might calm skin irritation and redness.

4. **Enhanced Penetration:** Gold-infused products may enhance the penetration of other active ingredients, making them more effective.

5. **Elasticity Improvement:** Gold's potential to boost collagen and elastin production could lead to improved skin elasticity.

**Silver in Skincare:**

1. **Antibacterial Properties:** Silver has natural antibacterial properties that could help combat acne-causing bacteria and prevent breakouts.

2. **Wound Healing:** Silver-infused skincare might aid in wound healing and soothe skin irritations.

3. **Oil Control:** Silver could help regulate excess oil production, potentially reducing the occurrence of clogged pores.

4. **Antioxidant Benefits:** Silver's antioxidant properties might protect the skin from environmental damage and oxidative stress.

5. **Gentle Exfoliation:** Silver particles could offer gentle exfoliation, removing dead skin cells and promoting a smoother complexion.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, Spalifes Gold and Silver Serums are jam packed with benefits from the precious metals. These benefits include anti-aging and anti-inflammatory. The Gold was my favorite as the gold flakes were more subtle on my skin tone as they didn’t absorb as fast as the Silver, which ironically the same day I was looking for gold leaf to apply to skin. The Gold flakes leave a subtle glow to skin and can be used as a highlighter for those who wear makeup. The Gold Serum also felt very hydrating and I used it after getting my eyebrows done and the redness instantly went away. The Silver Serum was also very great for getting rid of redness but I personally loved the color of the gold on my skin which I wear silver/ white gold jewelry but recently have been wanting to transition into gold so at the moment I am bias. However the Silver also felt very hydrating and helped get rid of my oily skin during the super hot summer day that I wore it. Overall, I enjoyed both the Gold and Silver Serum and would recommend them to my friends, also for the price it seems like a no brainer as it has semi precious metals that have skincare benefits. I enjoyed this review a lot as it is not La Prairie prices for the metals in skincare and it worked wonders for my skin.
